All your prod work is gonna be on remote server anyway, not your local machine, so ultimately you are gonna be in the terminal a lot (iTerm2 is the best). There are no advantages to getting a Linux laptop. Why don’t you switch to something like Cyberduck? FileZilla is really terrible. You can use the web UI to browse and upload files, up to a limit, but you really need an app such as Cyberduck to upload large files. In itself, it doesn't do much more than provide an API for applications to store and retrieve data. What apps or programs do you use alongside your NLE to speed up your work?
